Resin Collaboration with Pebeo and Hobbycraft
This blog marks our third collaboration with Pebeo and Hobbycraft, and this time we’ve brought a fun, easy, and creative workshop for you. The workshop was a great success, enjoyable for both beginners and experienced artists/crafters.
During the workshop, we created gorgeous square coasters. Along the way, we discussed all the important aspects of PPE (personal protective equipment), the materials we were working with, and different ways they could be used. We explored color theory and learned to mix pigments to achieve the colors we desired. Additionally, we discussed how to use, clean, and maintain silicone moulds to extend their lifespan. Throughout the workshop, we used various accessories such as glitter and gold leaves to decorate the coasters, while also discussing other materials and accessories that could be used with resin.
Finally, participants had the opportunity to ask any questions they had about resin, different techniques, products or even their personal projects. When you’re starting something new, whether with the aim of becoming a professional or just for fun and a good experience, a strong support system is crucial. Sharing knowledge and nurturing creativity are always the primary goals of these collaborations. Thank you to everyone who participated!
