Resin Collaboration with Pebeo and Hobbycraft
The resin pendant making workshop was my first collaboration with Pebeo and Hobbycraft. I have always been inspired to share my skills and knowledge with others, and I felt that resin was such an amazing medium worth discovering and experimenting with. I was beyond happy to start creating and hosting this workshop.
For the workshop theme, we chose to make pendants because of how versatile they can be. You can create keychains, home decorations, earrings, necklaces, or any other type of jewellery using the main pendants as a starting point, etc.
During the class, we covered personal protective equipment (PPE), layering techniques, decorating, and shared any tips and tricks I use when working with resin. We also discussed various ink options to die the resin and accessories, such as gold flakes and glitter, that can be used in resin projects. Throughout the workshop, everyone was able to create beautiful pendants and even had a little bit of resin left to experiment with later.
The beauty of the resin medium is how versatile it is. You can create almost anything with resin, and the pendant making workshop was the first step for our participants to embark on their resin journey.
